Beyond Bollywood!

Attakkalari is probably India's only truly experimental dance institute. This little dance center on the outskirts of Bangalore organizes the major international biennials as well as training in both contemporary dance and new technologies. Artistic director Jayachandran Palazhy are schooled in both classical Indian dance and contemporary dance at the London School of Contemporary Dance. He has also for many years worked with the choreographer Akram Khan. Tonight's program begins with the presentation of an entirely new interactive digital program, Nagarika, followed by a dance performance by the young dancers linked to Attakkalari. In collaboration with the Network Culture in West Town, Vara Concert Hall and the Västra Götaland. Admission: SEK 100. www.attakkalari.org
